Background, Interests & Experience

As a humanistic therapist, I don’t just draw on studies and qualifications — I offer a lifetime of hard-earned knowledge and lived experience. My personal growth continually informs my professional development and supports the well-being and self-discovery of my clients.

As a queer, neurodivergent, French, and polyamorous therapist, I bring a unique intersectional perspective that is trans, sex work and kink inclusive, and grounded in a feminist ethos.

My own therapeutic journey began in 2003 as a client exploring psychoanalysis (Jungian, Freudian integrative, psychogenealogy), counselling, and psychotherapy (Psychosynthesis, Person-Centred, Transactional Analysis, Psychodynamic). I began seeing clients in 2015 and have run my private practice since 2017.

The therapy I offer is humanistic and activist, with a commitment to helping clients dismantle internalised discrimination — including homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, racism, misogyny, fatphobia, ableism, and other forms of oppression. Together, we work to free the self from normative conditioning and reclaim the right to celebrate and embody one’s full diversity.

For individuals, couples, and groups, this process often involves breaking free from the expectations and constraints imposed by dominant social systems — such as heteronormativity, cisnormativity, mononormativity, religious dogmas, and patriarchal values. Therapy becomes a space to question, deconstruct, and ultimately reimagine the narratives that have limited one’s freedom to love, relate, and exist authentically.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in cinema and theatre — fields that continue to inspire my love of imagery, imagination, creativity, and playfulness. I also spent over 15 years in customer and corporate services, notably in training and leadership roles. This experience deepened my understanding of workplace stress and how the pressures of corporate life can affect our mental, emotional, and physical health.

Areas of Experience

I have had the privilege of supporting people from a wide range of backgrounds — across age, nationality, culture, gender and sexual identity, and professional paths. Each client brings their own story, strengths, and challenges, and I tailor my approach to meet them where they are.

Below are some of the areas I most often work with:

Personal Development
Supporting self-esteem, body image, creativity, expat life, work-related stress, career transitions, and questions of purpose and meaning. Together, we explore how to cultivate a more grounded, authentic, and fulfilling sense of self.

Mental Health & Well-Being
Supporting with depression, anxiety, emotional regulation, burnout, and overall well-being. I work collaboratively to help clients restore balance, reconnect with their inner resources, and cultivate resilience and self-compassion in daily life.

Diversity
Affirming and exploring the richness of gender, sexual, and cultural identities. Therapy becomes a space to embrace all parts of the self and navigate belonging with greater confidence and ease.

Neurodiversity
Supporting autistic, ADHD, high-potential (sometimes referred to as gifted or highly sensitive persons) and other neurodivergent individuals.
Please note: I am not a psychiatrist and cannot provide official diagnoses. If you require medical assessment, please consult your GP for a referral to a psychiatrist. In such cases, I can offer complementary therapeutic support for your mental and emotional well-being.

Sexuality
Exploring the intersections of sexual orientation, gender identity, intimacy, pleasure, and kink — in a non-judgmental, affirming space that welcomes all expressions of sexuality.

Relationships
Working with loneliness, intimacy, belonging, trust, jealousy, and communication challenges.
I work with monogamy, polyamory, and all forms of consensual/ethical non-monogamy (CNM/ENM), supporting individuals, couples, and constellations in developing authentic and equitable connections. I also offer relationship therapy to family members, friends, housemates, polycule or other groups needing mediation & guidance.

Family Dynamics & Upbringing
Understanding how early experiences — such as neglect, abuse, or bullying — can shape our patterns, self-beliefs, and ways of relating. Together, we work towards healing, integration, and freedom from limiting narratives. Family therapy can assist you repairing your dynamics and communication - breaking free from the victim/persecutor/rescuer cycles and cultivating a healthier adult to adult connection.
